How Big Is 17cm, Really?

Seventeen centimeters (6.7") sits closer to a paperback's width than a full keyboard's — it slots into a narrow gap between a monitor and a stack of books without hogging the desk. At 31g (1.1 oz), it's lighter than the photos make it look, with most of that weight sitting up in the crescent and gem rather than the shaft. The in-hand photo above is the honest reference.

The red cord below the head is tied on by hand after casting, the one part of this piece that isn't metal. Every unit gets a hand-finish pass to clean up mold lines before it ships.
