# Fan Art Policy

**The short version:** everything we sell is unofficial fan art. We are not licensed
by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any game studio, publisher, film company, or
rights holder. If you're a rights holder and you'd like something removed, email us
at support@blacksmithsong.com and we'll remove it.

The longer version is below, because we think it's worth being clear about.

## What we make

BlacksmithSONG sells small die-cast zinc alloy weapon collectibles — 10 to 30cm,
blunt, non-functional, made to sit on a desk or a shelf. They're tribute pieces,
for people who love a particular game, anime or film and want a small object from
that world where they can see it.

The shapes take after weapons that appear in games, anime and film. That's what
makes them tribute pieces. It also means they are unofficial, and we'd rather say
so on our own page than have anyone assume otherwise.

## What we don't do

- **We don't reproduce official logos, key art, screenshots, box art or packaging.**
  Not on this site, and not on the products themselves. No printed marks, no
  stamped logos, no ™ or © symbols on anything we ship.
- **We don't call anything official, licensed, authentic or authorized**, because
  none of it is.
- **We don't use studio, publisher or supplier imagery.** Every photograph on this
  site was taken by us, in our own studio, of the actual item we ship.
- **We don't claim a relationship with any rights holder.** We don't have one.

## If you're a rights holder

We'd rather hear from you than from your lawyer, and we'd much rather fix something
than argue about it.

Email **support@blacksmithsong.com** and include:

1. Who you are and who you represent
2. The work, design or mark you're writing about
3. The specific page URL or URLs on blacksmithsong.com

Here's what we commit to:

- **We'll reply within 3 business days.** A real reply from one of us, not an
  auto-responder.
- **For a straightforward request, we'll remove or delist the item within 5 business
  days** and email you to confirm it's done.
- **We won't stall, and we won't make you prove more than you need to.** We're two
  people running a small shop. We're not going to fight you over a $20 desk
  ornament.

If a request is broad enough that we need to ask a question before acting, we'll ask
it quickly and keep the item offline in the meantime.

## If you're a customer

Worth knowing before you order:

- These are **fan-made display pieces**. There's no official packaging, certificate,
  serial number or licensing mark — because there isn't one to give you.
- Every edge is **cast blunt**. These are not weapons and they don't function as
  one. Ages 14+.
- The specs on every product page — length in centimetres and inches, weight in
  grams and ounces — are numbers **we measured ourselves**, on our own scale, on the
  item in the photo.
- If a piece isn't what you pictured, we have a **30-day money-back guarantee**, and
  you can email a person about it.
