Display stands aren't uniform across the line — most of these offer a Small/Large/Vertical stack, but the Catspaw Dagger and Dawn Sword swap in a Medium tier instead of Large, and Needle only comes with Small and Medium — no Vertical option. The Wall, the North, and the Girl Who Went to Braavos

Three of these blades belong to the same long story — a bastard sworn to a wall of ice, his little half-sister, and the dagger that finished what his sword started.

Longclaw is a Valyrian steel bastard sword, ancestral to House Mormont for five hundred years, until its old Lord Commander gave it to a young man who'd just saved his life at the Wall — and had the bear's-head pommel recut into a wolf's first. Jon Snow carried it against the dead ever since.

Needle is the odd one out on this shelf: no Valyrian steel, no thousand-year pedigree, just a slim practice sword a departing brother had made for his little sister before he left for the Night's Watch. Arya Stark named it after the embroidery lessons she hated, then carried it through everything that came after — exile, Braavos, and training to become No One.

The Catspaw Dagger has the ugliest résumé in the Vault and one of the best endings. Valyrian steel with a dragonbone hilt, it was first sent to kill Bran Stark, asleep in his own bed — foiled at the last second. Years later it passed to Bran's little sister Arya, who used it to end the Night King at the Battle of Winterfell.

All three belong to the same long night: the sword that guarded the Wall, the practice blade that outlived every plan anyone had for her, and the dagger that actually finished the war.

One Conquest, Two Blades

Blackfyre and Dark Sister are the closest thing to a matched pair in this Vault — both Valyrian steel, both carried into the Conquest by Aegon the Conqueror and his sister-wife Visenya. Blackfyre was the king's sword, later handed by a father to his bastard son instead of his trueborn heir — a decision that started a rebellion and split the dynasty for generations. Dark Sister, the lighter and slimmer of the two, stayed with the women of that family: first Visenya herself, later Daemon Targaryen — "the Rogue Prince" — a century on, in the era House of the Dragon covers.

At 141g (5.0oz), Blackfyre is built for a broader grip than 74g (2.6oz) Dark Sister — the size difference is the whole plot in miniature: one sword made for ruling, one made for moving fast.

A Sword Cut in Two, and the One That Fell From the Sky

Oathkeeper is one half of Ned Stark's ancestral greatsword Ice, melted down and reforged into two blades after his execution. Jaime Lannister, who lost the hand that once held a sword, gave his half away to Brienne of Tarth, who'd sworn an oath to Catelyn Stark to find and protect her daughters — and named the sword for the promise itself.

The Dawn Sword has no relation to any of that. It isn't even the same metal — legend says it was forged from the heart of a fallen star, which is why the blade runs pale instead of dark. It doesn't pass from father to son; it goes to whichever knight of House Dayne is judged worthy, and that knight takes the title Sword of the Morning. The last man to earn it, Ser Arthur Dayne, is still reckoned the deadliest knight who ever drew a blade.

One sword split a legacy in half to keep a promise. The other fell out of the sky and answers to nobody's bloodline at all.

By the Numbers: Same Length, Very Different Weight

Four of these seven replicas are cast at the same 30cm (11.8in) length — and they don't weigh anywhere near the same. Oathkeeper is the heaviest at 177g (6.2oz); Needle is the lightest 30cm blade in the whole lineup at just 110g (3.9oz). Longclaw and Blackfyre sit in between, at 157g (5.5oz) and 141g (5.0oz). Same ruler measurement, four different objects in the hand.

The same thing happens at the small end: the 18cm (7.1in) Catspaw Dagger weighs 78g (2.8oz) — denser than either 22cm sword on the shelf (Dark Sister at 74g (2.6oz), Dawn Sword at 70g (2.5oz)). Length tells you almost nothing about what a piece feels like in the hand — weight is the number that actually matters, and it's one we measure ourselves on every single replica.

Are Blackfyre and Dark Sister meant to be a pair?

They're the closest thing to a matched set in the Vault — carried into the Conquest by Aegon the Conqueror and Visenya, the siblings who ruled together afterward — though exactly how the pair was originally forged is a detail fans still argue about. We sell them separately, and each stands fine on its own.

Is the Dawn Sword actually made of Valyrian steel?
