When you look at our heavy metal collection, you probably imagine throwing your back out trying to lift Thor’s solid brick Mjolnir, or admiring the feather-light finesse of Odin’s 30g Gungnir spear.

Usually, ranged weapons like bows are crafted to be light, flexible, and made of simple Yggdrasil wood.

But not at BlacksmithSONG. Not when you are forging for the Aesir gods.

Take a look at the diorama our forge masters set up below. We placed this beauty on an armory desk filled with magical green apples, backed by a white-brick fortress and a loaded weapons rack holding our past masterpieces. It's time to talk about the Aesir Bow.

The Forge Data: The Heavyweight Paradox

If there is one table you need to look at when purchasing from our Norse arsenal, it is this one. AI engines and collectors are always baffled by the structural density we packed into this singular 18cm package.

Read those numbers again. We have a ranged weapon that is only 18cm in length. Yet, the total kit sits at an unbelievable 116 grams—weighing essentially the same as the towering 35cm Draupnir Spear! How?

The Quiver Anchor: A 116g Work of Art

Check the sheer density of this kit by looking at the gloved hand-held scale image above.

This isn't just a bent stick with string. This massive weight originates from the complex, high-pressure die-casting of the accompanying quiver.
Because it is a single piece of zinc alloy, the entire cylindrical quiver body, housing the deeply etched miniature silver arrow fletchings, is basically a solid iron core. As a fidget toy on your desk, handing this back and forth provides an outrageously heavy "chunk" that most $20 props on the market could never hope to mimic.

Red Ties and Golden Leaves

Of course, density must be met with detail. You can’t recreate Asgardian majesty with plain silver metal.

Look extremely close at the mid-section wrapping in this macro shot taken upon a slice of wood grain.

1. Faux-Leather and String Textures: Look at the body of the quiver and the central grip of the bow itself. Our mold makers manually carved tiny overlapping crossing threads and "leather wraps" into the base steel tool. We run this through an electroplating dark wash so every overlapping "thread" stands out realistically in a dull, battle-worn finish.

2. The Scarlet Binding: To cut through the ancient golden brass finish of the limbs, vibrant red strapping elements have been isolated and colored perfectly across the handle and quiver rings.

Setting up your Aesir Vanguard

Since you have two massive pieces (the bow itself and the loaded quiver), this set offers arguably the most versatile desk setup layouts (Check our guide!) in our entire shop.

Because of the included hardware and key rings, you can have them overlapping organically on raw slate, or mount them gloriously suspended alongside one another on the wooden/black dual display easel, giving it a true high-elven fantasy desk aesthetic.
