At 22cm (8.7") and 33g (1.2oz) of solid die-cast zinc alloy, the Spear of Cassius replica ships free worldwide from BlacksmithSONG. Its twin isn’t hard to find. Its story is a little more tangled.
The Spear of Cassius is the weapon Mark.06 draws at the end of 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance — a red, double-helix shaft topped with a green-gemmed spearhead, wielded by Kaworu Nagisa. It later stops Eva-01’s transformation into a god-like being during Near Third Impact.
Every photo on this page is ours — shot in our own studio, of the exact piece we ship. No CGI, no renders, no supplier images. We leaned it against a stack of hardcover novels and let a single overhead light trace the twist in the double-helix shaft.

Twenty-two centimetres (8.7") is right around the height of a paperback standing on end — enough presence to anchor a shelf without needing its own dedicated space. At 33g (1.2oz), it’s light enough to prop against a book spine or lean into the corner of a display case without the base sliding. Check the in-hand photo above before you decide where this spear replica lives.
The spearhead, the gem setting, and the full twisting shaft are cast as a single die-cast zinc alloy piece — there’s no separate rod threaded through a molded tip. That double-helix twist along the shaft is shaped directly in the mold, which is also where the 33g (1.2oz) weight comes from: it’s solid the whole way down, not a hollow tube with a heavy cap. The green center gem is set after casting, then the whole piece is hand-finished.
Bare works fine, or add a Small Stand (+$2) or Large Stand (+$3) to angle the gem forward; Vertical (+$4) works too if you’d rather it stand spearhead-up. It’s a fan-made tribute to one of Evangelion’s stranger relics, unofficial and unaffiliated — paired naturally with the 22cm Spear of Longinus, the rest of the Longinus Lance Vault, or our other die-cast spears.
Free worldwide tracked shipping, a foam-lined gift box, and a 30-day money-back guarantee — every order gets all three, with US orders landing in 10–14 days. Fan-made, unofficial, and not affiliated with anyone — the full story is on our fan art policy page. Three spears, one legend, split three ways — this is just the middle one.
Curious about the other two? The Spear of Gaius rounds out the trio, cast at 21cm and considerably heavier in the hand.

At 22cm (8.7"), the Spear of Cassius is close to the length of a pair of chopsticks laid end to end — just a centimeter shorter. That puts it solidly in desk-prop territory: long enough to have real presence propped against a shelf, short enough that it won’t dominate a crowded display case. The in-hand photo above is the honest reference point.
No — every edge and point is cast blunt straight from the mold. It’s a solid die-cast display collectible, not a functional weapon, recommended for ages 14+.
It traces back to the same medieval legend as the Spear of Longinus — tradition credits Patriarch Germanus, around 715 CE, with fixing the name Longinus to the Roman soldier who pierced Christ’s side, a name historians link to the old Cassia family line. The anime splits that legendary name into three spears; Cassius is one, worn by Mark.06.
A quick wipe with a soft, dry cloth after handling is really all it needs — the double-helix shaft is narrow enough that fingerprints show up fast under direct light. Skip anything wet or abrasive; a microfiber cloth kept near the display shelf is the easiest habit to build. Treat it like a small metal collectible, because that’s exactly what it is.
No — and we say so on our own page. This is an unofficial fan-art collectible from a two-person studio, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by any game, anime, or film company. There’s no official packaging or certificate, because there isn’t one to give you. Full details on our fan art policy page (/pages/fan-art-policy).
