How big is 18cm (7.1"), really?

About the length of a new, unsharpened pencil, but with real weight behind it — 116g (4.1 oz) of solid metal that feels denser than the slim profile suggests. Check the in-hand photo above for the honest scale.

Does it actually shoot?

No — it's one solid cast piece; nothing moves, nothing fires. It's a display collectible, not a functional weapon, recommended for ages 14+.

Are the carvings on the bow and quiver painted on, or cast in?

Cast in. The scrollwork along the limbs and the rune lines on the quiver are shaped directly into the mold, so they hold their detail under a macro lens rather than sitting flat like a painted line.

How do I keep it looking new?

A dry microfiber cloth is all it needs. Zinc alloy doesn't rust the way steel does — just keep it away from water, chemicals, and direct sun, and dust it now and then.
