What Does the Whole Armory Look Like at a Glance?

Swords: Five Blades Across Two Sagas

Blade of Olympus and Blades of Chaos are the pair from Kratos's Greek years — literally shelved together on our own set list, since one product page points straight at the other. The Blade of Olympus is the war-ender: 21 cm (8.3 in) of the sword Zeus forged to banish the Titans, which Kratos later carried himself. Blades of Chaos are the twin blades he spent that entire era swinging — 13 cm (5.1 in) per blade, 126 g (4.4 oz) for the pair, the heaviest and (tied) priciest thing in this whole lineup.

The other three swords are Norse, and each belongs to someone different. Thrungva is Freya's personal blade — decoration at her back for years until Baldur's death, when she draws it in earnest again. Ingrid is Freyr's sword with a mind of its own, capable of drawing itself when its owner is threatened, later carried into Asgard by Atreus. Skofnung is the odd one out: legendarily the sharpest blade in Midgard, said to hold the souls of a king and his twelve berserkers — and in the actual game, all you ever recover is its hilt. Shields: Kratos's Two Guards

Guardian Shield is the one Kratos carries from the first chapter of the Norse saga — a gift from his late wife, the same person who gave him the Leviathan Axe. At 10 cm (3.9 in) and 100 g (3.5 oz), it's the smallest footprint in the entire 12-piece lineup and also one of the densest. Dauntless Shield is its Ragnarök replacement, built for aggressive parrying rather than a straight block — 12.5 cm (4.9 in) and 74 g (2.6 oz), a little larger but noticeably lighter.

The Rival Spears: Gungnir and Draupnir

These two were rivals before either one ever reached a god's hand. In the myth — and in the game's own lore — Draupnir and Gungnir came out of the same forge contest, built by competing pairs of dwarven smiths. Draupnir is the one we carry at full scale: 35 cm (13.8 in), the longest piece in this entire armory, forged in the story from Odin's self-multiplying ring plus a literal drop of Kratos's blood. Gungnir is the opposite kind of remarkable — Odin's own spear, disguised most of the time as an old man's walking stick, and at 30 g (1.1 oz) the lightest thing we carry across all 12 pieces. Don't expect Draupnir-style heft from this one; it's built for the disguise, not the density.

The Lone Pieces: One Axe, One Hammer, One Bow

Leviathan Axe and Mjolnir share more than a category — both came off the same two dwarven hands, Brok and Sindri, with the axe built second and on purpose as an answer to the hammer. Leviathan Axe is Kratos's signature weapon for the entire Norse saga: 16 cm (6.3 in), 76 g (2.7 oz), the piece most people ask for first. Mjolnir takes the God of War game's own take on Thor's hammer rather than the sleek movie-poster version — a squat, rune-covered head at 13 cm (5.1 in) and 118 g (4.2 oz), the densest single piece in the whole lineup gram-for-centimeter. Aesir Bow is the outlier of the three: Atreus's own weapon, built by him alone in his Asgard locker rather than forged by the dwarves — 18 cm (7.1 in) and 116 g (4.1 oz).
