Why is Blackfyre lighter?

In the lore, both Blackfyre and Longclaw are Valyrian steel; on our workbench, both are die-cast zinc alloy — the difference is in the finish. We applied a deeper oxidation treatment to Blackfyre's recesses, so the ripple patterns read darker, almost black in low light (hence the name Black-fyre).
