Weapons That Never Had a Job

Heirlooms are the one category in that game with no stats attached to them. They don't hit harder, they don't swing faster, they do nothing a bare fist wouldn't do. Their entire function is to look expensive while you stand around in a lobby waiting for the drop. Which is exactly why the designers went somewhere strange with every single one — an electrified nunchaku, a skull-headed maul, a yari with birds worked into the shaft, the same scythe issued twice in two different finishes. Nobody had to make these practical, so nobody bothered. As display pieces they're barely a change of career: they were always objects whose only job was to be looked at.

Where to Start

Three doors in, and no two of them are the same kind of thing. Death Grip is the heaviest piece in the vault by a wide margin and the one that reads across a room. Strongest Link is the longest, and the only nunchaku anywhere in this shop — two segments on a chain, which makes it the one piece here that moves. And Caustic Death Hammer goes the opposite way: the shortest thing on the page, with the skull doing all the work.

The Forge Standard

Die-cast zinc alloy, hand-finished, with every edge and point cast blunt — display collectibles, recommended for ages 14+. The spread on this shelf is wide: 30 g to 161 g, which is more than five times, and the lightest and heaviest pieces are both scythes. Most items here are a single casting; the nunchaku isn't, because two segments joined by a chain can't be. Every photo on this page is ours — shot in our own studio, of the exact piece we ship.
