The Sandai Kitetsu is a katana with a reputation for cursing its owners, the weakest — and most famous — of three blades forged generations apart. Zoro won it from a Loguetown shopkeeper who tested his luck by tossing the blade toward his own arm; it curved around him without drawing blood. The shopkeeper handed it over for free.
