The Honest Size Check

At 22cm (8.7"), this sits closer to a letter opener than a fighting dagger — which is fitting, since it reads more like jewelry than a weapon. At 72g (2.5 oz) it has real presence for its size, denser than the delicate hilt-work suggests. Straight from the Mold

Each piece is die-cast in zinc alloy as a single body, then hand-finished by the two of us. The hardest part of this casting is the one thing you can't easily see in photos: there's no separate crossguard piece bolted on. Blade and hilt are one continuous cast shape, with the gold detailing wrapping organically into the silver rather than stopping at a hard edge — which is also why this is, blade for blade, the most reflective piece in the lineup. It catches light like a mirror.
