We built a forgotten forest shrine just to shoot this one — thick moss, pale blue-veined blossoms that only seem to bloom in quiet places, and a small offering of apples left at the foot of a hooded stone figure with her hands clasped in prayer. Look closely at the moss on the left and you might spot a leaf-faced little woodland spirit who wandered into frame and refused to leave. How Big Is 28cm, Really?

Cast, Not Cut

The whole blade — and the sheath that ships with it — start life as die-cast zinc alloy, each cast as a single body before we hand-finish the color work. The wing-shaped guard, the crosshatched grip wrap, and the sheath's raised trim and crest pattern are all shaped straight into the mold, not stuck on after the fact. The edge stays cast blunt from the pour; this one's built for a shelf, not a pedestal.
