Thirteen of These Names Are Older Than the Anime

Excalibur turns up in a chronicle from 1136. Gáe Bolg belongs to the Ulster Cycle, Balmung to the Nibelungenlied, Amenomurakumo to the Kojiki, and the Chains of Heaven to a Sumerian poem about a king who bound a bull from the sky. The anime didn't invent this arsenal — it drafted it, handed each weapon a holder, and let them fight over who deserved what. That's why the shelf reads stranger than most: a Chinese general's jian, a French saint's sword, and a spear that only ever strikes the heart, standing together like they always belonged. Where to Start

Three doors in. For the shape people recognize before they know the name, Caliburn — the sword in the stone, and the one Artoria eventually breaks. For a piece with actual moving parts, Gáe Bolg telescopes out to full length and weighs less than anything else in this vault. For the one that looks like nothing else here, Chains of Heaven is exactly what it says: linked metal, no blade anywhere on it.

Die-cast zinc alloy, hand-finished, every edge and point cast blunt — display collectibles, recommended for ages 14+. Most pieces come out of a single pour; a few can't, because a telescoping spear and a length of chain need joints to work.
