For games, Kratos wielded the Blades of his servitude and the Axe of his wife. But in God of War Ragnarok, he finally forged a weapon that was truly his. The Draupnir Spear.
It was created by the Lady of the Forge to kill a god who could read minds. It holds the soul of a dear friend (Brok). It brings the wind.

A Closer Look at the Craftsmanship

Scroll through our photo gallery. We didn't just cast a pointy stick; we replicated the details that make this spear legendary.

• The Golden Ring: Look at the pommel (bottom) of the spear in Image 1. You can see the distinct shape of the Draupnir Ring—the magical ring that multiplies. It’s set perfectly into the shaft.

• The Spartan Red Sash: This is my favorite detail. As seen in the full shots (Images 6-10), we’ve included a piece of crimson fabric tied near the blade. It visually connects this Norse weapon back to Kratos’ Spartan tattoos and his history as a General.

• The Rune Blade: The tip features the intricate gold and silver patterns powered by the wind. The Zinc Alloy casting is sharp and clean.

Size Matters: 35cm of Reach

• Length: This is 35cm (approx. 13.8 inches) long. It is significantly longer than the Blades of Chaos or the Axe. It demands space on your desk.

• Weight: It weighs 116g. Because of its length, the weight is distributed differently. It feels balanced in the hand, like a precision instrument rather than a blunt force tool.

• Scale: This works incredibly well with 1/6 scale Kratos figures. A spear should be taller than the wielder, and at 35cm, it towers correctly over a 12-inch figure.

The Story of the God Killer

Why is the kratos spear so important?
It represents the moment Kratos stopped running from his past and embraced his nature—not as a monster, but as a protector and a general. The spear is the signature weapon of Sparta. By forging Draupnir, Kratos combined his Greek heritage with Norse magic.

It is the only weapon capable of hitting Heimdall. Its ability to detonate (using the triangle button!) changed the gameplay entirely.
