This is the parting gift the Lady of Light chose for the finest archer among her guests — a longbow of her own people's make, said to outmatch the one he'd carried into the story so far. It went on to bring down more than one winged terror from the sky before the tale was through.

The Camp Beneath the Roots

We built a resting camp under a tangle of pale roots for this one: a grey travel cloak draped over a branch like it was shrugged off mid-journey, moss thick underfoot, and a few small leaf-wrapped parcels tied with twine set aside — the kind of provisions elves are famous for packing light and dense. What You're Holding

18cm in the Real World

Just shy of the length of a new, unsharpened pencil — small enough to sit in a palm without covering it. At 29g (1 oz) it's lighter than a handful of coins, and that's the whole point: the elegance is in how little metal it took to hold that much detail. The in-hand photo shows just how compact this piece really is next to our swords.

One Pour, One Body

Each piece is die-cast in zinc alloy as a single body, then hand-finished by the two of us. The twisting vine-and-leaf carving running the length of the bow's stave is shaped into the mold itself — on a piece this slender, that's the hardest casting we do, since there's so little material to hold the detail. The matching arrow is cast the same way, fletching and head included.
