We built a snow-buried pine forest for this shoot — frosted branches, a stone marked with a gold handprint, and his signature red cloth caught in the snow. Lay a dollar bill flat and you've got the length, edge to edge — that's how far this axe head-to-butt actually runs. Cast, Not Cut

Each axe head is die-cast in zinc alloy as a single body, then hand-finished. The scrollwork across both faces and the curved horn at the top are shaped into the mold itself — trace the pattern with a fingertip and you'll feel real depth, not a printed layer. The haft's copper-toned wrap follows the same spiral down to a capped butt end, and the edge stays blunt straight out of that mold.
