The Shigure replica measures 24cm (9.4"), weighs 79g (2.8 oz) in solid die-cast zinc alloy, and ships worldwide free from BlacksmithSONG. In the story, this blade takes hits from swords several grades above it and keeps going, without so much as a chip. Ours mostly just has to survive shipping.

What Is the Shigure?

The Shigure is Tashigi's personal katana, a graded blade known for surviving direct hits from far more famous swords in the story. She wields it with a signature quick-draw technique called Kiri Shigure, cutting down an opponent in a single motion. It's also the sword she was carrying the moment she recognized Zoro's Wado Ichimonji as a priceless meito.

Shot by Us

Every photo on this page is ours — shot in our own studio, of the exact piece we ship. No CGI, no renders, no supplier images. We shot the sheath in two separate passes to catch both halves of its design — the textured green section and the smooth white one — since one lighting angle never did both justice.

Shelf Space, Honestly

At 24cm (9.4") and 79g (2.8 oz), Shigure runs a bit heavier than several other katana in our lineup, without adding any extra length to show for it. That weight concentrates in a blade that still reads clean and proportionate rather than bulky, holding its shape well whether standing or laid flat. The in-hand photo above is the clearest way to judge how that density actually feels.

Where the Weight Comes From

Shigure is die-cast in zinc alloy as a single body, then hand-finished — the curve, the four-petaled guard, and the two-tone scabbard pattern are all set in the mold. The green wrap and white lacquer carry their color straight through the casting rather than sitting on top of it. We walked through the entire lineup in our One Piece collection guide if you want to see how this one compares to the rest.

Choose Your Display

Bare, or add a Small Stand (+$2), Large Stand (+$3), or Vertical Stand (+$4) — vertical works well here, letting the two-tone sheath read as one continuous piece from top to bottom. A fan-made tribute to one of One Piece's more underrated blades, unofficial and unaffiliated — and part of the Grand Line Katana Vault's katana lineup.

Free worldwide tracked shipping gets Shigure to your door in 10–14 days if you're in the US, tucked into a foam-lined gift box with a 30-day money-back guarantee behind it. Fan-made, unofficial, and not affiliated with anyone — the full story is on our fan art policy page. No cannonballs required to test this one, just a shelf and a decent amount of desk space.

Wado Ichimonji is the sword that made Shigure's wielder famous for a different reason — spotting it across a shop floor and instantly knowing exactly what it was worth.

FAQ

The stuff collectors actually ask us.

How big is 24cm (9.4"), really?

Shigure carries noticeably more heft than several other katana in this lineup — 79g (2.8 oz) reads dense the moment you pick it up, closer to a solid tool than a lightweight display piece. That extra weight doesn't come with extra length, so it's easy to underestimate until it's actually in your hand. That's solid zinc alloy doing the work.

Is the blade sharp?

No — every edge and point is cast blunt straight from the mold. It's a solid die-cast display collectible, not a functional weapon, recommended for ages 14+.

What's the story behind this particular sword?

Shigure was in Tashigi's hand the moment she first crossed paths with Zoro in Loguetown and immediately recognized the sword at his hip as Wado Ichimonji, one of the story's legendary blades. That instant identification is what kicked off her long-running obsession with recovering it from him. It's one of the more famous "sword expert" moments in the entire story.

How should I take care of this piece?

Keep Shigure's two-tone finish looking sharp with a dry microfiber cloth — nothing wet, nothing abrasive, since the goal is just to clear dust rather than scrub anything. Handling it by the scabbard rather than gripping the exposed blade section keeps fingerprints off the parts people notice first. Stored flat or on a stand, it holds its finish without any extra maintenance beyond that.

Is this an officially licensed product?

No — and we say so on our own page. This is an unofficial fan-art collectible from a two-person studio, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by any game, anime, or film company. There's no official packaging or certificate, because there isn't one to give you. Full details on our fan art policy page (https://www.blacksmithsong.com/pages/fan-art-policy).

How long is shipping, and how can I pay?

Free worldwide tracked shipping; US orders land in 10–14 days. Payment options are shown at checkout. Every order carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.
