Azeroth Armory: Size, Weight and Price of Every Piece

22 May 2025 0 comments

BlacksmithSONG's World of Warcraft lineup is 22 die-cast zinc alloy weapon replicas — fourteen swords, two axes, three shields, one bow, one twin-blade pair and one polearm — measuring 8.5–30 cm (3.3–11.8 in) and weighing 56–297 g (2.0–10.5 oz). Most start at $19.99; Corrupted Ashbringer, Frostmourne, Lion’s Fang (King Llane’s Sword) and the Warglaives of Azzinoth twin-blade set start at $29.99. Prices are for the replicas without optional display stands.

They're fan-made, unofficial desk collectibles from our two-person studio: blunt-edged, recommended for ages 14+, and sized for a shelf or a monitor stand, not for swinging. Corrupted Ashbringer, Frostmourne and Lion’s Fang share the longest length at 30 cm (11.8 in), about as long as a standard 12-inch ruler. The smallest piece, Bulwark of Azzinoth, is 8.5 cm (3.3 in). Every piece lives in the Azeroth Armory, and this page is the side-by-side: what each one measures, what it weighs, what it costs and which to pick first.

The three 30 cm greatswords bring the most weight: Corrupted Ashbringer weighs 297 g (10.5 oz), Frostmourne weighs 227 g (8.0 oz), and Lion’s Fang weighs 221 g (7.8 oz). The Warglaives of Azzinoth offer something different at the same $29.99 base price: a matched pair of 27 cm (10.6 in) glaives weighing 220 g (7.8 oz) together.

Which World of Warcraft Sword Replicas Can You Get?

Corrupted Ashbringer 30 cm (11.8 in) 297 g (10.5 oz) $29.99
Frostmourne 30 cm (11.8 in) 227 g (8.0 oz) $29.99

Apolyon, the Soul-Render 20 cm (7.9 in) 130 g (4.6 oz) $19.99
Armageddon 22 cm (8.7 in) 128 g (4.5 oz) $19.99
Cataclysm's Edge 22 cm (8.7 in) 127 g (4.5 oz) $19.99
Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood 21 cm (8.3 in) 126 g (4.4 oz) $19.99
Slayer of the Lifeless 21 cm (8.3 in) 110 g (3.9 oz) $19.99
Great Royal Sword 21 cm (8.3 in) 110 g (3.9 oz) $19.99
Grand Marshal's Claymore 22 cm (8.7 in) 109 g (3.8 oz) $19.99
Quel'Serrar 21 cm (8.3 in) 100 g (3.5 oz) $19.99
The Unbreakable Will 21 cm (8.3 in) 100 g (3.5 oz) $19.99
Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker 21 cm (8.3 in) 81 g (2.9 oz) $19.99
The Dreadblades 20 cm (7.9 in) 63 g (2.2 oz) $19.99

Corrupted Ashbringer leads the sword group at 297 g (10.5 oz), followed by Frostmourne at 227 g (8.0 oz) and Lion’s Fang at 221 g (7.8 oz); all three measure 30 cm (11.8 in). The other eleven swords run 20–22 cm (7.9–8.7 in) and weigh 63–130 g (2.2–4.6 oz), with Apolyon, the Soul-Render the heaviest of that smaller group. Armageddon joins them at 22 cm (8.7 in) and 128 g (4.5 oz), just one gram heavier than Cataclysm's Edge at the same length. The Dreadblades remains the lightest sword at 63 g (2.2 oz), a little under half Apolyon’s weight at the same 20 cm (7.9 in) length.

Two naming notes worth knowing before you search: Great Royal Sword uses the store handle anduin-lothar, while Lion’s Fang — our fan-art take on King Llane’s Sword from the Warcraft film — uses lion-fang. The current Lion’s Fang listing is the 30 cm (11.8 in), 221 g (7.8 oz) greatsword. It starts at $29.99 without a stand; small, large and vertical display stand options are $31.99, $32.99 and $33.99 respectively.

All fourteen sit on the Metal Sword Replicas shelf.

What About the Two Axes?

Piece Length Weight Price
Gorehowl 18 cm (7.1 in) 141 g (5.0 oz) $19.99
Shadowmourne 18 cm (7.1 in) 116 g (4.1 oz) $19.99

Both axes measure 18 cm (7.1 in). Gorehowl weighs 141 g (5.0 oz), against Shadowmourne’s 116 g (4.1 oz), a difference of 25 g (0.9 oz). At $19.99, Gorehowl offers more weight than any of the $19.99 swords listed above; the heavier Corrupted Ashbringer, Frostmourne and Lion’s Fang all start at $29.99. Both axes sit on the Metal Axe Replicas shelf.

Which Shields Are in the Lineup?

Piece Length Weight Price
Bulwark of Azzinoth 8.5 cm (3.3 in) 111 g (3.9 oz) $19.99
Sword Breaker's Bulwark 11.5 cm (4.5 in) 98 g (3.5 oz) $19.99
Alliance Lion Shield 10 cm (3.9 in) 56 g (2.0 oz) $19.99

Bulwark of Azzinoth is the smallest piece in the whole collection at 8.5 cm (3.3 in), yet at 111 g (3.9 oz) it's also the heaviest of the three shields — denser than most of the swords in this lineup, gram for centimeter. Sword Breaker's Bulwark follows at 11.5 cm (4.5 in) and 98 g (3.5 oz), and Alliance Lion Shield is the lightest piece in the entire 22-piece lineup at 56 g (2.0 oz).

All three sit on the Game Shield Replicas shelf.

Is There a Bow in the Lineup?

Piece Length Weight Price
Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury 18 cm (7.1 in) 91 g (3.2 oz) $19.99

Just the one: Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury, at 18 cm (7.1 in) and 91 g (3.2 oz). It comes with its arrow, and like every replica on this page it's a static display piece — it doesn't draw or fire. It sits on the Game Bow Replicas shelf.

What About the Cloudsong Glaive Polearm?

Piece Length Weight Price
Cloudsong Glaive 22 cm (8.7 in) 98 g (3.5 oz) $19.99

Cloudsong Glaive adds a polearm to the armory: two curved teal blades at opposite ends of a green-wrapped shaft, measuring 22 cm (8.7 in) tip to tip and weighing 98 g (3.5 oz). It's one double-ended display piece, not a matched pair of separate glaives. This fan-made tribute to the retired Challenge Mode reward starts at $19.99 without a stand and is cast blunt for display. Find it among our Metal Halberd Replicas.

What Comes as a Pair — the Warglaives of Azzinoth?

Piece Length Weight Price
Warglaives of Azzinoth 27 cm (10.6 in) 220 g (7.8 oz) $29.99

The Warglaives of Azzinoth is the twin-blade set in this lineup: each glaive measures 27 cm (10.6 in), and the pair weighs 220 g (7.8 oz) together. The set starts at $29.99 without a stand, the same base price as Corrupted Ashbringer, Frostmourne and Lion’s Fang. Choose it for the matched-pair display rather than the longest or heaviest piece. It sits on the Exotic Weapon Replicas shelf.

Where Do the Pieces Fall by Size?

These size shelves also hold pieces from other games; the counts below group the World of Warcraft entries on this page by their listed lengths.

Which World of Warcraft Replica Should You Start With?

For substantial weight at the $19.99 base price, Gorehowl offers 141 g (5.0 oz) in an 18 cm (7.1 in) axe. For the instantly recognizable Lich King silhouette, start with Frostmourne: 30 cm (11.8 in), 227 g (8.0 oz), from $29.99. For the most heft, choose Corrupted Ashbringer: 30 cm (11.8 in), 297 g (10.5 oz), from $29.99. Lion’s Fang offers the same 30 cm length at 221 g (7.8 oz), also from $29.99. And if you want a matched pair rather than one blade, the Warglaives of Azzinoth set brings two 27 cm (10.6 in) glaives for $29.99.

Most pieces start at $19.99 without a stand. Corrupted Ashbringer, Frostmourne, Lion’s Fang and the Warglaives of Azzinoth set start at $29.99, with optional display stands priced separately.

Do the Replicas Come With Display Stands?

No. Every piece ships as the bare replica in a foam-lined gift box, and stands are optional add-ons at $2 to $4 depending on the piece and the style (small, large/medium or vertical). Not every piece is offered in every style — some pieces currently skip the vertical option, others skip the mid-tier stand, so check the piece's own product page for what's available before you add one.

What Are These Replicas, and What Aren't They?

BlacksmithSONG is an independent two-person studio making and photographing die-cast zinc alloy weapon collectibles — more on us on the about page. We photograph the actual pieces ourselves, using studio setups and, for some shoots, miniature dioramas we model, 3D-print and hand-paint. No CGI and no renders.

What you get is a display collectible, not a functional weapon. Edges are cast blunt, the pieces are recommended for ages 14+, and nothing draws, hinges, fires or lights up — the bow is static and every shield and axe head is a single casting. And these are fan-made, unofficial pieces, not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by Blizzard Entertainment or any other game or film company.

The Warglaives of Azzinoth set is 27 cm (10.6 in) per glaive and weighs 220 g (7.8 oz) for the pair, also starting at $29.99.

Which World of Warcraft replica is the lightest?

Are the blades sharp, and can you swing them?

No — every edge is cast blunt, and each piece is a display collectible for ages 14+, not a functional weapon.

How does shipping work?

That's the whole armory on one page. Browse every piece in the Azeroth Armory — and when a new piece joins the lineup, this is where its size and weight will show up first. And if RPG legacies are more your thing than raid loot, the Crystal Armory tracks all twelve Final Fantasy replicas — Buster Sword to Ultima Weapon — the same way.

Another cold, open-world fantasy shelf worth a look: the Nordic Armory carries a matched sword-and-axe pair that came out of the same tomb, plus three weapons handed down by three different Daedric princes.

Warglaives aren't the only weapon here that resists a clean category, either — the Outlands Heirloom Vault carries an heirloom nunchaku that gets mistaken for a sword more often than it should.
